How can I help?

LEADERSHIP TEAM

The League of Women Voters is a grassroots political organization consisting of active and involved citizens who help make democracy work through education and advocacy. Every member has an important contribution to make.

There are many opportunities to help with various League of Women Voters of Alameda activities: candidate forums, voter registration, community events, and our annual Meet Your Public Officials event.

We welcome new people who want to step up and take the lead: that is how League grows in strength and numbers. Consider saying yes when asked to contribute. Yes we can, with your help!

Our nominating committee will be seeking leaders for 2013-2014 later this year. The job descriptions for the various board positions are listed below.

If volunteering with the LWVA feels right for you, please contact one of our officers.
